Qwo™ Injectable Buttocks Cellulite Treatment
Most women have cellulite to one degree or another. Unsightly “dimpling” of the buttocks can ruin your look if you wear leggings, a revealing dress or a swimsuit. Recently, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved the first injectable for treating cellulite. Qwo™ is a biologic injectable created for treating cellulite on the buttocks. The formal name is collagenase clostridium histolyticum-aaes. The brand name is Qwo, and it can give your buttocks a smooth, sexy appearance.
How Does Qwo Injectable Butt Cellulite Treatment Work?
When Qwo is injected directly into cellulite, it may help ease or break down the bands of collagen involved in making the dimpling texture of your buttocks. In clinical trials, QWO appears to have made a significant difference in how the buttocks looked after treatment. Results will be visible two to three weeks after treatment. You will receive up to 3 treatments of 12 injections each, spaced 21 days apart.
Cellulite Is Normal, But Not Pretty
If the texture of the skin on your buttocks resembles the skin of an orange, you have cellulite. Thick strands of collagen are pulling downward on the skin’s surface, causing your skin to look dimpled as fat is pushed upward. The collagen bands are thought to be formed as a result of alterations in blood flow or lymphatic drainage. Since fat is involved, you may think losing weight will eliminate the problem, but this is not the case. Cellulite is not the same as excess fat. Additionally, cellulite is more likely to form in areas that are the most difficult to slim down, such as the buttocks, thighs and abdomen. Cellulite is not harmful; It just does not look pretty. The good news is, you can now have the cellulite on your buttocks treated.
